Vermont Slips with Loss to Albany 67-58

On Sunday, Mar. 9, Vermont took on Albany and got beat at home by the Great Danes 67-58 in conference play. The Catamounts are now 2-0 against Albany this season with the loss. Clancy Rugg put up a team-high 13 points and nine rebounds in a losing effort. Sandro Carissimo got six points and added four rebounds.

With two outings that included a team season high in scoring, T.J. Warren, a 6-8 sophomore from NC State, has earned the StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week. StatSheet's NCAA Freshman of the Week is Devin Williams from West Virginia and StatSheet's NCAA 6th Man of the Week is Marquette's Todd Mayo.
